What happened to January sales? I've already ordered a few pieces from Topshop after realising that their sale started today.. Ooops!! I couldn't resist! This month I've been working and saving like mad so I can treat myself to a MacBook Pro for Christmas and somehow I have manage to do it! So excited to get it! Anyway MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day unfortunately I'll be at work 12-6 but already can't wait till I get home to spend time drinking and eating excessively with family and friends! So yes, Merry Christmas to all of you!

A quick update of my Instagram uploads from all the way back in September.. Sometimes life takes over, at other times its work or education or your social life etc but unfortunately for me I was taken over for the past few months by a not so lovely virus which really took it's tole on my body. Granted I did get to spend a lot of time in bed but most of that was spent feeling sorry for myself - unable to achieve as much as I'd of liked to did get a little frustrating however alone time is good for the mind and a lot of things in my life became a lot clearer.

before work / lots of photos of beth by me / endless artist research / grandads 91st / saatchi / kate moss vogue / halloween / cat & dog

mandela doodles when bedbound / photobooth / bleach london dye / my illustration work / 19th bday / jamie laing / itunes festival  / £20 white leather jacket / 6am sunday sunrise at work

The foggy weather turned out to be an interesting backdrop for a quick and very cold photo opportunity for some images to go towards a project I'm currently working on. (Everyone meet Beth - again) Here are just some quick black and white edits of a selection of photos.. there are so many more I like but I just wanted to share some on here. I really want to start learning more about photography and have started to be a lot more interested in Photographers since starting an Art Foundation. I still remember the days I'd spend styling and making up friends taking pictures of them on a little 2.1 megapixel Sony camera that served me well over the years. They had endless Facebook profile pictures against a white wall background haha. Who else did this? I can't of been the only one of us who did so! Although I don't think I can face looking back at them - the word cringe comes to mind but everyone has to start somewhere don't they!

Ps Just wanted to mention this amazing red leather jacket I managed to bag from a French Connection outlet last year for less than £70 with an RRP of £295 I think I did quite well there!

When I checked my bank balance on Tuesday I had been paid earlier than expected, how could I not spend the past two days browsing online wondering how to spend my wages.. Now the majority of these items are on the way to me. I'm currently saving up for a macbook but  if you can't treat yourself on payday when can you! Whistles currently have 20% off everything till the 2nd of December so I finally bought the jacket I've been lusting after for the past couple of months! I'm having yet another much needed wardrobe clear out.. I feel like I have definitely left my hoarding ways behind me! Anyone else struggle to part with clothing and shoes and bags etc? I always thought that I'd regret selling or charity shopping my clothes, keeping everything just in case there was an occasion where I fancied wearing bits again but in all honestly I haven't even thought about wearing everything I got rid off (Sorry). I think I have this tendency to keep things, a lot of things, thinking that I will need them but deep down knowing I will never ever use them again.

Here in the UK it is well and truly coat weather! The sun that is currently shinning through my blinds is deceiving me because I know how cold it is out there.. Last month I purchased this coat from ASOS. A black mac has been on my shopping list for quite a while now and I was on the hunt for a new biker style coat as my trusty black faux leather sleeved River Island one is looking a bit worn after a lot of wear and love from me. While having a browse online in search for the coat of my dreams ASOS was my first stop and my last, in this case I found it first time haha! This coat is perfect for my taste, the gold detailing matches my well loved JC Roscoes and the numerous gold rings I've collected. The mix of biker and mac is perfect and it is a two in one coat for me as I now have a new biker style coat and mac for the price of one! The fit is flattering and it looks good undone or done up, I love the way it has been styled on the website. It comes in both mink and black and it's currently on sale for £52.50!!
